Final Consultation 20th April 6.30pm

The second consultation was pushed back by a couple of weeks and we now find ourselves in April.  Our final consultation, to which all are invited, is now scheduled for 20th April.

Many of you have participated in the earlier consultation activities in January, and the aim of this event is to feed back on the outcomes of that consultation, and demonstrate how the project has evolved in response to that consultation and the ongoing work with stakeholders.

Date: Wednesday 20th April 2011
Time: 6.30 – 9.00pm (presentation at 6.45pm sharp)
Place: Walthamstow Central Library, Reference + Information area (First Floor)

RSVP essential: info@gortscott.com

We aim to post a preview of material on 15th April 2011, on this blog, prior to the consultation event.

There will also be a small exhibit in the foyer of the Library from 3pm Tuesday 19th April – 8pm Thursday 21st April. For people who cannot make it to the event on Wednesday, members of the design team will also be present on Tuesday 19th April at 3pm-6pm in the library foyer (or just outside if it is a nice day).

Format of the event on Wednesday 20th April:
The design team and the Council will present the Masterplan, which looks at long term proposals on catalytic sites, as well as more targeted, short and medium-term proposals, including how the open spaces in the town centre can be improved, better integrated, and how people can get around the town centre more easily and effectively.
